Ergon GP2 Comfort Bicycle Grips - Large
The Ergon grip with a 2-finger, mini bar end, delivers more hand positions and improved leverage and stability when climbing or during out of the saddle cycling.
The bar end angle can be adjusted independently from the angle of the grip for the perfect personal fit and the bar end doubles as a clamp to lock the grip in place and prevent movement while riding.
Like all the grips in the GP Series, the GP2 eliminates numb hands, aching fingers, and tired forearms.
The GP2 is made from 100% German, TÜV-certified rubber compounds of the purest quality.
Great for your providing extra comfort on your Electric Bike.
Black and grey in colour.
Small or large? Which grip size do I need?
In order to help you maintain perfect control over your bike, your hands should not completely envelop the grip, which is why Ergon offers many grips in two size diameters – Small and Large.
The difference refers to the grip width (hand size), meaning a larger hand will have a more positive fit on a thicker grip, while a smaller hand is better fit to a smaller grip. For hand/glove sizes 6.5 to 8.5 we recommend Small, for 8.5 to 10.5 Large usually is better.
The Small and Large label refers to how grip range, simply how thick or thin the grip is. There is no difference in the length or ‘wing’ size between the Small and Large. The small grip is best for riders with small hands, those wearing thick padded gloves, and riders riding/racing technical mountain bike terrain.
The grip range or outer circumference of the round, inner part of the grip closest to levers is 92mm - Small and 102mm - Large. This is the part of the grip you grip with your thumb and pointer finger.
The large grip is best for riders with large hands, commuting, and city riding. We highly recommend visiting an Ergon dealer to get ‘hands on’ with the grip you are considering purchasing. Ultimately, grip size is a personal rider preference.
All grips suit handlebars with a 22.2mm outer diameter common to 99% of bicycles and are supplied as a pair (left and right).
Standard GP series grips require 130mm from the inner edge of the grip to the end of the handlebar.
