Our Hard Tail Evo is our second generation Hard Tail electric bike - an electric bike recognised for its quality and performance since 2014. Here's what some of our customers have to say about our Hard Tail Evo:
“Living 5 kms west of town... and 5 kms east of the beach... in somewhat hilly terrain, I'm finding at 70 my eBike has literally changed my lifestyle for the better. In the last six weeks, in fact, I've rarely driven either of our cars or ridden either of my motorcycles.” Paul B
"My Hard Tail has paid for itself with zero tram fares, parking, petrol, traffic fines, wear and tear on my car etc etc. ...and I save a heap of travel time and feel so superior passing 100's of traffic jammed cars on my trips into the city. Keep up the revolution!" Peter S.
Some of the things you'll love:
Comfort riding with its upright seating position and higher and wider handlebars.
It's super quiet! The high specification motor is quieter, stronger and is fitted with a Shimano cassette providing a crisper gear shift and reliability.
You can charge portable devices on the go (such as your mobile or camera) using the USB charge port located in the LCD display.
No-one knows you're riding an electric bike! Our unique design integrates the battery in the frame for a smoother, cleaner look.
27.5-inch Weimann Alloy rims fitted with oversize Kenda tyres make the Evo suitable for mixed surfaces, from paved roads to dirt tracks.
Ride further - Packed with 50 high quality Panasonic 18650 cells you have the option of 11 or 15AH of reserve capacity - giving you well over 100km of range.
You CAN exercise if you must - With our custom software the bike has the ability to provide a wider range of assistance from the mild mannered performance of just 70 Watts in assist level 1 steadily building through to the hill flattening ability in level 6 all at the push of a button. All modes provide assistance up to the legal limit of 27 kph. The other benefit of the ultra low power mode is extended running time, with a minimum of 7-hours assistance in level 1.
Don't just take our word for it, Jane D'Arcy of the Sydney Morning Herald compared the Hard Tail Evo to the BH Easy Motion Evo 650B and wrote, "That's where the Dyson appeals - when it comes to quality and cost, it's doing really well. The Verdict: Dyson is a Melbourne-based company making good bikes at great prices". Read the full article here.

What our customers say:
"Last year I met David Metzke, the proprietor of Dyson Bikes, at the Melbourne Convention Centre. I experienced riding a Dyson Evo Hardtail (Evo) electrically-assisted bike there, and immediately purchased one. The look, quality, features and professional and friendly service and product assistance are the main reasons for my purchase. Since the bike was most expediently delivered by David I have had many hours of most enjoyable riding of this great machine. David’s ongoing advice and assistance has been nothing short of excellent. Service, professionalism and friendliness in the retail sector is becoming scarce, and to find people the calibre of David and his team is a rare commodity. I wholeheartedly recommend this product and the company to any potential buyer of an electrically-assisted bike." Michael G.
"We just bought an Evo and a Bondi from Onya Bikes in Canberra. ROde the Evo home...amazing...looking forward to using it more and more." Robert
"Having a bad knee and living in the hills of the Dandenongs the Dyson E bike has given me a new lease on life. I can't walk more than 1km without limping but I can ride for over 20kms with no pain. Living in a hilly environment was impossible for me to ride a standard Mountain bike, not with the E-bike, rode down the Mountain into Ferntree Gully the other day and made it home without needing to get off the bike, except for a coffee at the local cafes." Carmen B
"I ride mine to work everyday and I love it. As for traffic I can get home quicker than in the car- just LOVE my electric Dyson bike." Sara B
"Rode today and got 77kms from the 8.8ah battery... impressed with Dyson (Bikes)" Paul M.
"Thanks so much - I'm loving the new bike. My only issue is that my wife tried it and now she always wants to borrow it!" Tim F.
"To say I am impressed with Dyson Bikes customer service is an understatement. Fantastic Dyson, and you Dave for your service excellence. I wish all companies had the same level of care, and attention to detail that you do" Greg H.
"I'm on 90km and still have charge on my 12ah battery. This bike is everything they say it is." John P.
"I wish my new car with it's hopeful fuel economy figures were a good as the estimates of battery life on the Hardtail. You said 50-70km, well I got 50 (exactly) lugging my 115kg frame up and down Adelaide linear Park over 2 1/2 hours yesterday. For the technically minded I was using PAS 1. Well done, I do like the bike and reckon it's the best I've seen at any price." Russell B.
"I bought the new 2016 Hard Tail model, it is an absolutely awesome bike, and David took me through how the bike works and what has been improved in the bike when I did the test ride. Customer service is amazing overall, Thanks a lot David :-)" Mohammed A.
"Just had the Bike delivered today and rode it about 15km around the city, to the store and everything and I am beyond impressed. The bloke said it'd blow me away, and it certainly did. I barely had to do anything and it was pushing 20km/ph. Now THAT is phenomenal. A VERY smooth ride and the motor is so quiet you'd never know it's there. Thank you for an INCREDIBLE product. The Hardtail is an absolute pleasure to ride." Cole S.
