Ergon Gp3 BioKork grips - Small
The BioKork version of the GP3 with a 3-finger bar end provides a wide range of use, ranging from mountain bikes, electric bikes to fitness and touring bikes. The bar end angle can be adjusted independently from the angle of the grip for the perfect personal fit and the bar end doubles as a clamp to lock the grip in place and prevent movement while riding.
Like all the grips in the GP-Series, the GP3 BioKork eliminates numb hands, aching fingers, and tired forearms. The grip body is made up of 40% cork, which is sustainably grown in Portugal and able to meet strict ecological guidelines. The central core uses 20% less plastic and is reinforced with natural fibers. All components of the grip are produced with regards to sustainability. (Carbon bar Compatible)
An ideal upgrade for your ebike.
Small or large? Which grip size do I need?
In order to help you maintain perfect control over your bike, your hands should not completely envelop the grip, which is why Ergon offers many grips in two size diameters – Small and Large.
The difference refers to the grip width (hand size), meaning a larger hand will have a more positive fit on a thicker grip, while a smaller hand is better fit to a smaller grip. For hand/glove sizes 6.5 to 8.5 we recommend Small, for 8.5 to 10.5 Large usually is better.
The Small and Large label refers to how grip range, simply how thick or thin the grip is. There is no difference in the length or ‘wing’ size between the Small and Large. The small grip is best for riders with small hands, those wearing thick padded gloves, and riders riding/racing technical mountain bike terrain.
The grip range or outer circumference of the round, inner part of the grip closest to levers is 92mm - Small and 102mm - Large. This is the part of the grip you grip with your thumb and pointer finger.
The large grip is best for riders with large hands, commuting, and city riding. We highly recommend visiting an Ergon dealer to get ‘hands on’ with the grip you are considering purchasing. Ultimately, grip size is a personal rider preference.
All grips suit handlebars with a 22.2mm outer diameter common to 99% of bicycles and are supplied as a pair (left and right).
Standard GP series grips require 130mm from the inner edge of the grip to the end of the handlebar.
