ROLLING RESISTANCE. The patented, 5 mm thick SmartGuard insert has a clear advantage in terms of rolling resistance compared to all copycat products.
RECYCLING. In the SmartGuard we also use a proportion of recycled rubber from old latex products.
“ANTI-AGING” SIDE WALL. It endures the typical overloads caused by insufficient air pressure for significantly longer before it develops ugly cracks.
E-BIKE READY. Thanks to its excellent features, the Marathon Plus is an ideal choice for e-bikes (E-25). The most important sizes are also tested and approved for fast e-bikes up to 50 km/h (E-50).
UNFLATENABLE WITH MARATHON PLUS
Only Marathon Plus tires make the bike unflatterable. The 5 mm thick puncture protection even protects against tacks.
You can never completely rule out a flat tire. However, the Marathon Plus bicycle tire provides you with the best possible protection against the typical puncture devils such as shards or granules. For all Marathon Plus, be sure to use a pressure gauge to adjust the air pressure. Due to the special structure, a pressure test with the thumb is not sufficient.
